Hi, I really like the Faviconbar, but since the last update my custom Fav icons(my custom bookmarks) don't show up in the bar, I always get the standart favicons(default bookmarks).

When i load the backup file, my custom bookmark icons come back on the bar perfect. It always happens when i start up my mac pro the first time...

The end result, Faviconographer, isn’t a perfect implementation of favicons within Safari, but it’s good enough to warrant consideration. Step 3: Open System Preferences → Security & Privacy → Accessibility and enable Faviconographer.

Refreshing the website does indeed show the updated favicon in the browser tab, however the bookmarks for those websites still have the old favicon.

It then superimposes the favicon related to the tab’s website on the tab itself.

Keeping this in mind, favicons will only show up when the Safari window has focus.

Faviconographer is a hack, so don’t expect it to work perfectly.

It utilizes mac OS’ Accessibility API in order to calculate the position of your open Safari tabs.
